I am not one for Holidays..... Buuuuuttttt
I can't help but be reminded of my Irish heritage this time of year.
I have been dreaming of Ireland since I was just a little girl... imaging myself with flowing red hair and lying in a field of clover talking to the local fairies and such. I still adore red hair.. but have grown quite fond of my naturally curly dark locks. Even more so when I found out that my name means dark haired in Irish.... and there is a place called the Ring of Kerry that has been beckoning me to come for a nice long visit.
Ahhhhhh. One day. I will go.
I might even get to have tea with someone special I know. ;)
XO,
Carrie
*pardon the picture it was horrible lighting.... tis sad but true.

Great piece! I love red hair too. :) I use to be a readhead but I got tired of dying the hair all the time. Now I'm a natural brunette. :)
Hope you enjoyed St. Patricks Day, come soon, i'll have the kettle on!! x
Beautiful, hope you enjoyed the day!
She is beautiful, Carrie! When I was a wee little girl I used to wish for bright red hair and big blue eyes. It never happened though. lol ;)
btw, I have nominated you for a blog award. Visit me to see what it's all about.... http://hellcatvintage.blogspot.com/2010/03/my-very-first-award.html
She is lovely with her flaming red hair. Dark brunettes are cool too, I think ! ;)
Happy belated Irish Day !
Oh, my darling girl. You brighten all my days. I think we all have a little redhead in us just dying to get out and start a ruckus! Hummmmmm...Red hair and green dresses. I think that sounds a girls weekend theme party!

hi! wonderful blog and fantastic pictures!!!
Oh my goodness - I missed this post. What a beautiful creation. I think we all wish to be a red-haired lass from Ireland strolling through the fields at one time or another. I know I have...there's just something so very romantic about Ireland. Take care! Theresa
