Spring has sprung..... FINALLY!

awwwww.... the busy days of spring...... the flowers

getting all the plants potted and in the garden..... I think all those years of mom and I fawning over those big southern victorian houses and the beautifully decorated porches.... all the flowers and greenery has had a major influence on me.... always wanting to have my home feel inviting, and relaxing....... ah yes... springtime.

With the petunias and coleus..... the tulips and rhubarb........ the cool sunny days and rosy cheeks are back. The kids are playing outside once again and anticipating the summer....

Connor and Cassidy are running and playing... doing those end of year school activities they so enjoy. Cassidy is getting ready for her little musical.... she will be a ladybug..... Connor just ran his track meet and got 5th place in the mile! He amazes me.... he was still suffering from a cold and didn't let that stop him.... he ran agianst 25 other boys... the fastest mile runners chosen from 4 other schools (he tried for 4th at the last moment... reaching out... it was hilarious!) ! He also placed 5th in the 100 m dash... and 1st in the 400 m relay race.... I was so proud of him... my little man!
