Sewing....

I am going to be dreaming about sewing green and purple satin! Yards and yards of satin. I am no seamstress, so you can guess that this was not an easy task for an amateur, but I gave it my best. 8 PANELS.... 58 inches wide and over 8 feet long..... whew! Glad it is all done, Jeremy thought I would never finish. My bobbin kept jamming and would mess up my seam then I would have to rip it out and start all over, so it took a lot longer than I thought . ... but boy it will look nice! Can't wait to see it all hung up on the rods. It is for Karman's booth at the Woman Song retreat we are going to. She will be there with her metal sculptures and her jewelry line, Sibelle Chic. I get excited about it every year... so relaxing, fun, and inspirational. Every woman should go if they get the chance.
If not this year, do it next year!!!!
Tomorrow I WILL be in the studio! yippee!

Hi Sweetheart, I hope you have a wonderful time. I'm looking forward to someday being able to join you. Bye the Bye, satin is not easy to sew even when everything is working properly. I'm sure it will look smashing!

Can I just say...this girl is a great seamstress. The panels she made for us were incredibly beautiful and made our display!
